About
Shiri Paamony-Eshel is a project manager, photographer, and award-winning documentary filmmaker who has lived and worked on three continents. Currently based in NYC, Shiri was born in Israel and has a Master of Fine Arts in Social Documentary Filmmaking from the School of Visual Arts.
Shiri currently works at the Rai - Radiotelevisione Italiana, as a videographer, video editor, and IT technician. In 2018, she founded the Hell’s Kitchen Community Film Festival and the Social DNA Project, both of which focused on exploring neighborhood life through stories of local personalities. Her film, MARIA, won the “Best Short Documentary Award,” at the USA Nepal Film Festival and at the Middlebury New Filmmakers Film Festival. In 2022, she produced the American episodes of the Israeli TV series, Murky Skies.
Shiri focuses on promoting critical social values such as unity, peace, creativity, and diversity. She is currently enrolled in an MFA program for consciousness and human potential at Maharishi International University.
